Job Description:Serving as key technical analyst for domestic U.S. projects related to policies and regulations affecting public health and worker safety and healthAnalyzing benefits, costs, and impacts of regulations, policies, and programsConducting evaluations of public health programs using standard and innovative quantitative and/or qualitative methods and techniquesPreparing written reports, memoranda, spreadsheet models, and presentationsSupporting business development efforts by participating in bid and proposal processesDemonstrating technical leadership and expertise via presentations at conferences and authoring publicationsQualifications and Skills: Master’s Degree in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related degreeThose with a Ph.D. are strongly encouraged to apply2+ years of demonstrated experience working on programs or projects related to public health and/or worker safety and health Experience using R, STATA, or SAS for data analysis and predictive analyticsExperience developing custom analytic models in Excel, R Shiny, TreeAge, or other platformsAbility to conduct technical analyses, both quantitative and qualitative in natureAbility to work under tight deadlinesExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate analyses and findings to various stakeholders in non-technical language, including senior government officialsExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and TEAMSGeographic location for the position is flexible, but New England and Washington, D.C. areas are preferableERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
