Delivery Engineer (f/m/d)

We operate a stack with a backend built in a strict micro-services pattern with polyglot services written in TypeScript, Python and C#. Technologies are chosen to fit the purpose (e.g. time series, relational, no-SQL databases). We deploy via GitOps and Helm to various Kubernetes clusters running on AWS. Our frontend is written in next.js, served by a highly configurable headless CMS using our own component library. 

As a Delivery Engineer at Exnaton, you will join our 25-person team and shape the company and its vision from the ground up. Among others, your main responsibilities are the following:

• Developing and deploying a state-of-the-art application for the energy sector;

• Onboarding new enterprise customers to our SaaS solution, defining and setting up integrations to the customers’ ERP and CRM systems (e.g. SAP, powercloud, Zoho, or others);

• Operating customer deployments;

• Taking ownership and responsibility of tasks to onboard new enterprise customers to our software and setting up individual deployments;

• Directly interacting with the technical project lead on the customer side, as well as the sales and product teams within Exnaton;

• Gathering feedback and identifying customer needs for the continuous improvement of our product;

• Working as part of a team of highly motivated and talented individuals, learning something new every week;

• As we are planning to grow the team in the next few years, you will ideally support and mentor new colleagues and review the team’s technical design, code, and documentation in the future.

• Holds a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or relevant experience (we are happy to consider applicants without a formal degree if you can demonstrate relevant skills);

• Has a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in software development, IT consulting, or software integration projects;

• Shows relevant experience in independently completing complex technical projects;

• Ideally has some experience working with typed API’s (GraphQL, tRPC, OpenAPI) and developing and shipping SaaS web applications with well abstracted components and composability;

• Ideally has worked on software projects in the energy sector before;

• Is motivated to constantly and consistently learn new skills, makes quick decisions, and clearly prioritizes what moves the needle;

• Is fluent in English, fluency in German would be a big plus;

• Is a team player and thrives in a dynamic startup environment.

We would consider it a big plus if, besides building software, you have a keen interest in renewable energy and a solid understanding of energy systems. If you do not meet all of the above requirements but feel you would be a good match for our team do not hesitate to apply anyway.
