Remote Position
MultiCare welcomes and encourages all qualified applicants to apply. This position will work remotely but the primary residence must be within the State of Washington.
Will be required to make site visits as needed to support the local security teams and to audit local training documentation and programs.
Attend key security meetings in-person as required at any site.
Knowledge of physical security principles (de-escalation, use of space, assessments, etc.) to effectively analyze data and make decisions.
Background in security awareness, workplace violence, active shooter/threat issues, security tools and processes.
Position Summary
• The Program Mgr Security Systems Training, manages, coordinates and audits security training for the entire MutliCare organization. This includes coordination, oversight, and standardization of training requirements, training programs, audits, policy development on training, and DOH compliance readiness.
Responsibilities
- Trains and audits local security trainers to ensure standardization and compliance with system requirements
- Conducts presentations and respond to questions from managers, staff, customers, and the general public regarding security requirements
- Develops, monitors, tracks, supports, and audits security regulatory compliance and accreditation for all security training and curriculum for the entire MultiCare organization.
- Coordinates and manages teams or tasks in assigned area; facilitating meetings, identifying issues, solving problems, setting agendas, preparing team leaders, etc. to ensure successful outcomes
- Creates and audits clear, concise supporting records that meet regulatory agency and department documentation requirements
- Develops outcomes-oriented work plans for assigned training initiatives, to include plans that address potential barriers to successful implementation and design interventions aimed at minimizing transition problems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Training and Development, Business Administration or Education, or related field; or equivalent (4+) years of experience as a training manager in a physical security organization/department
- Knowledge of Physical Security principles and processes to effectively analyze data and make decisions in the development and implementation of security training initiatives
- Background in security awareness, workplace violence, active shooter/threat issues, security tools and devices
- Excellent computer literacy skills and a high level of comfort in use of software applications, including but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and related applications

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $70,970.00 - $102,128.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
