As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be working with your team and across all of engineering to add testing infrastructure to ensure Dataminr’s high bar of quality is maintained. During new feature development, you will be important in establishing comprehensive testing plans and identifying any gaps in our tools to allow engineering teams to develop automation tests. You will work closely with Product Managers to understand user and scalability requirements to develop a better system. The opportunity
Develop and maintain Dataminr’s test automation infrastructure
Drive engagement with engineering teams to increase their use of our tools
Find ways to increase effectiveness of our manual testing vendor through more reliable automation and more effective failure feedback
Collaborate with engineering teams to find gaps in our tooling and champion the priority of closing feature gaps
Identify quality risks and work with others to increase our regression testing
What you bring

Knowledge of Python, Selenium, Email, and API testing
Experience with collaborating with engineering teams to design end-to-end test plans
Familiarity with Test Management tools
Experience with designing and deploying Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
