The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people's demands.

ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Analyst to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with the ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough mapping of existing government IT platform functionality to business capabilities.

  • Use best practice approach to analysis and documentation of platform mapping

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system-to-capability mappings, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.

  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure comprehensive understanding of IT systems.

  • Review Salesforce, ServiceNow, and OutSystems to discover data relevant to platform mapping activities.

  • Analyze and interpret database architecture to determine how it supports the platform for the mapping.

  • Develop and present reports and visualizations to communicate platform mappings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in mapping IT systems, preferably within a government or large organizational context.

  • Proficiency in understanding of Salesforce, ServiceNow, and OutSystems platforms and integrations.

  • Basic understanding of database structures and connectivity.

  • General knowledge of IT principles, practices, and terminology.

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage time and adhering to deadlines.

  • Security + Certification required

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/ active Secret Clearance

  • Must be a US Citizen

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
