About The Role

Reporting to the Retail Operations General Manager, you be responsible for maximising sales, minimising costs, and ensuring optimum efficiency and maximum profitability across the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger Victoria and South Australia portfolio.

With your strong leadership, interpersonal skills and proven experience managing and developing your team, you will set high standards and be highly organised, whilst being flexible to regularly travel locally and interstate in the fast-paced environment of retail.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Play an instrumental role in establishing a culture that unites all brands and stores into the one family unit, both in stores and at head office.

  • Effectively manage the VIC & SA stores complete P&L within the allocated budget, to affect a profitable performance for the group.

  • Proactively contribute to the formulation and direction of the overall retail strategy.

  • Champion, lead and develop the VIC & SA team to ensure the delivery of excellence in customer service, whilst exceeding monthly budgets and delivering on yearly budgets for the group.

  • Ensure all VIC & SA stores adhere to compliance requirements across all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures

  • Ensure stock control targets are in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss to the group.

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection and induction of all team members within the group, whilst monitoring ongoing performance and development needs

  • Ensure the in-store execution of all visual, marketing and operational activities are in line with brand guidelines

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Proven experience in multi-site management of at least 5 years, preferably in fashion retail.
  • Full-Price, Outlet and high volume experience essential
  • Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive store management team
  • Advanced computer literacy with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to adapt quickly to strategic change
  • Self starter with the confidence to take initiative in all situations

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible for local and interstate travel

  • Must have own vehicle and valid Australian drivers’ license
