Team members collaborate to maximize engagement and giving from individual donors and institutional funders alike.

Reporting to the Managing Director, CGI Sponsorships and serving as a key member of the Development team, this position advances the mission of the Clinton Foundation through the engagement and solicitation of institutional funders, primarily corporations and private foundations. • Maintains accurate, timely, and comprehensive records in CRM database, including key contacts, decision-makers/influencers, interactions, next steps, prospect plans, tracking of proposals, commitments, reporting requirements, and other stewardship activity.

Prospect Research and Analysis

  • Continuously identifies opportunities to grow the pipeline of prospective institutional funders/sponsors. Establishes requisite processes – in collaboration with program and Development colleagues – to identify and qualify prospective funders for CGI, CGI U and, opportunistically, for other Foundation priorities.
  • Evaluates and qualifies new leads/prospects through research and discussion with colleagues, leadership, and program staff.

Grants Management and Stewardship

  • Manages stewardship plan for assigned funders/sponsors to include both personal contact and updates from relevant funder staff and partners and works creatively to identify new stewardship opportunities.
  • Works with Managing Director, CGI, and CGI U staff so that benefits in funding agreements are fulfilled and committed funds are paid in a timely manner.

Event Support and Other Administrative

  • Participates in CGI and CGI U events, as needed, including some travel both internationally and domestically.
  • Supports Development, CGI and CGI U teams with on-site services for sponsors including VIP scheduling and briefing, reserved seating, staffing of VIP meetings and dinners, and other additional duties as required.
