Job purpose

     

Testing:

  • Take a leading role and manage Infrastructure Non-functional testing across multiple CLS hosting platform.
  • Define annual test approaches to EOL, Security Patches, Mandatory Upgrades across various hosting platforms.
  • Negotiate and manage effective test timelines with Infrastructure/Engineering team.
  • Manage stakeholders and deliver quality test results.
  • Leverage existing Test method as set out in the CLS test procedure and Test Approach.
  • Manage multiple vendors to deliver Test Strategies, Test Plans, and complete Test Execution and Test Exit Reports.

 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT Infrastructure Leaders, Infra Architects, Engineering team, and hosting support teams.
  • Vendor coordination and manage multiple VRAs.

Reporting:

  • Produce effective test plans targeting EOL, Security Patches, and other various upgrades.
  • Defect management reports.

Documentation:

  • Test Strategy to Infrastructure specific projects.
  • Test cases, scripts and defects
  • Test evidence collection during test execution
  • Test Exit Reports

The skills required for this role are:

  • Technical skills: Cloud hosting and on-Prem Data Center hosting knowledge. Focusing on Hosting Infrastructure knowledge, Networking, Security, Software Support Life cycle. 
  • Relationship Management skills: build strong working relationship with IT Infra senior management team, Architects, and various support teams to deliver effective test plans and results against agreed schedules.
  • Resource Management skills: work with Vendors to on-board, train, and retain VRAs with specific non-functional testing skills to deliver test results.
  • Analytic skills - reviewing documents, identifying areas to test and anomalies in scope documents.
  • Presentation skills - report test prep / execution updates to Infra Lead / Manager .
  • Communication skills - articulate testing challenges and raise risks, defects.
  • Time keeping skills - meeting milestones, ability to proactively manage own time calling out any challenges that may impact work or deadlines.

The skills desired for this role are:

  • Financial/banking domain experience
  • AWS hosting certifications.
  • Confluence/JIRA/LoadRunner/Zephyr Tool
  • Experience of working in onsite–offshore model
  • PMP
     

 

Essential Function / major duties and responsibilities of the job

  • Lead and execute non-functional, Infrastructure Verification test execution with Vendors
  • On top of testing progress
  • Understand and follow the GTS process to deliver testing services
