We need an English-fluent Sr .Net Architect, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform as technical lead for development projects.
  • Define best practices for development, test, and code management.
  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, .Net Core, Azure SQL, AngularJS, C#, Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure Managed Identities, and Azure DevOps.
  • Design, code, test, and document applications, web APIs and underlying services.
  • Define and enhance application frameworks and supporting technical documents.
  • Create and deliver data-driven applications and reports using Azure tools.
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team in cloud-native development and technologies.
  • Create solution designs and technical designs and unit test plans.
  • Participate in peer reviews and walkthroughs.
  • Plan and implement every process step as defined in methodologies.
  • Anticipate problems and analyze ways to mitigate the risk.
  • Maintain current professional and technical skills.
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging technologies, and assesses how they integrate and drive value for Loss Prevention Services, LLC.
  • Direct the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
  • Write testable, scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews.
  • Mentor junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent fiel is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of .Net Core, Azure SQL, AngularJS, and C#.
  • 7+ years in software design/development, with experience in the following areas:
    • Relational databases such as SQL.
    • Azure Cloud native development.
    • Azure Functions.
    • Event Driven Architecture.
    • Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus & Event Grid Domains.
    • APIs using .Net Core 3.1 or later.
    • Angular version 12 or later, preferably 14 for front end.
    • Azure Data Factory.
    • Azure SQL 2019.
    • Microservices in Azure (AKS).
    • Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
    • Azure API Manager (now named Front Door).
    • Performance tuning.
    • Data protection.
  • Experience leading engineering teams on backend services and/or systems development.
  • Detailed oriented, quick learner, self-starter.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent assignments.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $5,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
