Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Social Media Manager who will own and develop DDN’s social media and engagement programs.  They will support planning and manage execution of marketing programs, events, and campaigns to both nurture existing customer and partner relationships as well as generate new prospects and drive pipeline and demand. This role supports developing pipeline from both existing customers and prospects that fuels our growing business demands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the social media calendar, strategies, tactics, and reporting.
  • Own all social media accounts and engage with users by reacting, commenting, and sharing as the face of DDN.
  • Manage social media strategy execution with external digital agency.
  • Create and execute growth objectives for social media platforms.
  • Maintain social media reporting dashboard and deliver quarterly metrics with analytical conclusions and recommended actions.
  • Work closely with business development and sales teams to create and support engagement campaigns.
  • Support internal sales communications by gathering and preparing information that the sales team should be aware of.
  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, learn best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Develop understanding of customer pain points, the markets we serve, product line and value chain.
  • Collaborate with DDN’s creative team to move the brand forward in the social space with well-crafted and compelling design and engaging text, images and video.

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related field. 
  • 3+ years work experience in organizing and execution of successful social media campaigns across multiple platforms.  
  • Detail oriented and be able to serve as the final reviewer prior to publication of any public facing social messaging. 
  • Capable of crafting succinct and appealing messages that resonate with target customers. 
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities and demonstrate good judgment skills. 
  • Proactively seeks feedback and input; actively listens and communicates well with others.
