Cutover Lead
Experience
7+ years of experience required, including 2-3 years in Ariba/Fieldglass for data and cutover activities.
Technology/Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in international development, business, or IT related-field with prior experience; Master’s degree preferred
•At least 7 years total experience and a minimum 2-3 years experience in project cutover management
•Experience with an information system cutover, is required (either from a technical or functional perspective).
•Experience in handling Cutover of Cloud applications like Ariba, and FieldGlass is required.
•Should have S2P domain knowledge and understanding.
•Proficient in Microsoft Project (3+ years experience) to handle large cutover plan running few thousand lines
•Preferred if the candidates have extensive years in the industry and the technical knowledge to support cutover activities and lead the team.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile certifications, or SAP Certifications is a plus.
•SAP Project Management experience (3+ years), experience with 1-2 modules is desired, although he does not require a specific module experience for this role.
•Fluency with Microsoft Office suite is essential; familiarity with MS Project and SharePoint is a plus.
• Experience working on a globally diverse team preferred
• Proficiency in English is required
Roles & Responsibilities
•Coordinate input from stakeholders to complete cutover-specific deliverables and work products
•Refine and validate the cutover approach and outline related work products and work plan activities
•Support the development of the blackout calendar and cutover plan
•Plan and manage dress rehearsal and production cutover
•Lead controlled ramp-up planning, go/no-go criteria
•Develop a risk management plan and ensure appropriate mitigation planning
•Provide process/procedure overviews for team members that will assist in managing cutover (i.e. lead command center shifts, implement cutover plan)
•Partner with change management resources to synchronize site readiness, communication, and learning activities with cutover activities
•Coordinate Cutover Continuity Plan development
•Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the Project Manager in time.
•Ensure appropriate monitoring is in place and change control is followed
•Orient project team and stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of plans and activities
