Senior Staff Engineer - Scrum Master

• Own the process with the Scrum Teams and create balance amongst business and technical stakeholders.
• Bring passion and enthusiasm for coaching teams to self-organize and self-manage.
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as standup, sprint planning, retros, demos and backlog refinement sessions.
• Work with the teams and ask difficult questions to help resolve impediments, escalating when necessary.
• Responsible for sprint reporting, metric gathering and communication.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Portfolio Managers to ensure work items are prepared, dependencies are understood and prioritized.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience facilitating software development.
• 5+ years in a software development organization.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM, Agile, Kanban)
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a small-team environment.
• Certified Scrum Master.
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
