Job description: 

mParticle is seeking a VP of Operations to join our senior leadership team. In this high-growth environment, the VP of Operations will have an opportunity to oversee cross-functional execution of the company’s operating system. The ideal VP of Operations is a systems thinker, and has a passion for solving complex business challenges with a strong understanding of marketing tech and SaaS operating models. They will partner with and report to the CEO, collaborating with executive leadership to drive strong internal and cross-functional communications, while continually simplifying the way we operate. 

This position is based in New York.

Role and responsibilities:

• Lead centralized teams with an entrepreneurial spirit while fostering a culture of innovative thinking and urgency.
• Oversee mParticle’s strategic objectives, and work with the CEO to optimize operations to meet and exceed goals.
• Collaborate with the CEO, and leadership team on optimizing the interlock between planning and governance of the business. Oversee and socialize KPIs across the entire company on the monthly Employee All Hands. 
• Work to optimize cross-functional processes and ensure that different departments work cohesively towards common organizational objectives.
• Represent and communicate strategic, operational perspectives to leaders across the company to ensure that these projects and team efforts align with mParticle’s goals and strategic direction.
• Undertake special projects and business initiatives.

Professional Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive experience in operations strategy, P&L management, or continuous improvement roles, preferably in support of both B2B SaaS and marketing technology businesses. 
• Experience in dynamically building and scaling teams and systems, particularly in fast-paced and evolving environments, indicating your adaptability and growth-oriented mindset.
• Expertise in crafting and implementing effective operational strategies, demonstrating your skill in scaling business operations to meet evolving demands.
• Experience in strategic planning and budgeting, showing your ability to align financial resources with operational and business objectives.
• Adept in OKR / V2MOM planning and governance. Strong understanding of SaaS KPIs and the key drivers of success. 
• Strongly prefer someone with Marketing Tech and experience at an enterprise-sales focused company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $283,000-$354,000 based on location and level of experience + equity + benefits.
