💰Compensation:  $120,000-$140,000 base with a total expected compensation of $87,000 to $109,000, based on experience and location.

We are remote-first forever with a 4½ day workweek that finishes every Friday at 1pm.

The Role

Ceros is a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to enhance our internal operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building AI-powered solutions that will streamline our operations, drive efficiency, and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities 

AI-Powered Solution Development: Lead the design and development of AI-powered solutions that address our operational needs. Utilize your expertise in AI and ML technologies to create innovative solutions that drive productivity improvements.

Build vs. Buy Evaluation: Continuously assess the feasibility of building in-house AI solutions versus adopting vendor solutions. Make informed recommendations based on cost-effectiveness, scalability, and performance.

Thought Leadership: Be a thought leader within the company on AI technologies and techniques. Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field and champion the adoption of AI/ML best practices.

R&D and Innovation: Engage in research and development activities to explore new AI technologies and their potential applications to our operations. Pilot new ideas and technologies to drive innovation.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their operational needs and challenges. Translate these requirements into AI/ML projects that deliver tangible value.

Vendor Solution Integration: Evaluate and integrate third-party vendor solutions that align with our operational goals. Ensure seamless integration and optimization of these solutions.

Code Quality and Review: Write maintainable, high-quality code and actively participate in code review sessions. Uphold engineering standards and mentor peers in best practices.

Technology Exploration: Recommend and explore new technologies and techniques to enhance engineer productivity and the overall effectiveness of AI operations.

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on AI and ML.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks, languages, and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement complex AI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Self-starter mindset with a passion for staying updated on AI advancements.
• Experience with evaluating vendor solutions and making build vs. buy decisions.
