Blueprint Test Preparation has an opening for a Backend Software Engineer II to collaborate with other engineers and product/design teams to further develop our Learning Management System (LMS) and other tools. This is a remote, full-time position reporting to our Manager of Software Engineering.

- Ability to provide insight using data and program language-specific logic in order to solve complicated problems
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in a backend development role (Golang preferred)
- Experience working with NoSQL Databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB
- Strong experience working with AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, Azure, etc
- Previous history working with distributed services including micro-services, messaging design, and data design
- Experience with infra and backend toolings and technologies, such as Terraform, JSON, REST, CRUD, RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSQL, NoSQL such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, AWS stack, including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, or other related technologies
- Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Full stack experience with React is a bonus
- Knowledge of ETL processes and techniques
- Experience working with modern software development processes Jira, Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, Git, Code Reviews, unit testing and automation testing frameworks
- Strong expertise in debugging complicated issues, such as concurrency, memory optimization, and optimization techniques
- A problem solver who is generally curious, willing to learn, and intrinsically motivated
