In the Software Development team, we develop web applications (UI and API) powered by a workflow engine for processing data from space. A QA Engineer goes through the customer journey from both perspectives – user stories and internal processes, supporting the team in the development of functional tests, smooth deployments, localization of bugs, and reporting the state of applications to corresponding teams.

The Role

Develop and maintain automated tests for software applications using Selenium and Python (Pytest).
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure test coverage and accuracy.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
Create clear and comprehensive documentation for automated tests and processes in SharePoint following the ECSS standard (European Cooperation for Space Standardization).
Contribute to the improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.

Location – Our software team is remotely based across Germany & Belgium with travel and meet-ups at our offices (Freiburg, Munich, Brussels) when required. We offer remote working for this position from anywhere in Germany.
