Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to support the implementation of our Workplace (Room and Desk Booking) system. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of JavaScript, familiarity with UI and SQL, and significant experience in IT Service Management (ITSM). This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of workplace resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and customization of the Workplace (Room and Desk Booking) application on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and integrations to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for implementations, processes, and modifications.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the ServiceNow platform, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of data within the ServiceNow application.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on the functionality and features of the Workplace booking system.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • JavaScript Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with JavaScript for developing and customizing applications.
  • UI Familiarity: Proficiency in designing and developing user interfaces.
  • SQL Knowledge: Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
  • ITSM Experience: Proven experience in IT Service Management, with a focus on implementing and supporting ITSM processes and tools.
  • ServiceNow Implementation: 3-5 years of experience in implementing and customizing ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with other scripting languages and frameworks.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
