We are looking for a motivated Senior Content Manager to join our Marketing team to manage our blog content pipeline. In this role, you will plan, write, edit and deliver SEO and growth-focused content to drive more families to our blog, the Greenlight Learning Center, and website. This role will sit within our Growth Marketing team and collaborate closely with our Brand Marketing team, developing relevant, action-oriented and engaging content to families that informs them about Greenlight and encourages them to become new customers.

Your day-to-day:
  • Plan, edit, and write thoughtful, educational, and entertaining content on personal finance, parenting & family subjects, with a focus on SEO
  • Partner with our SEO Manager to develop new ideas into high-fidelity content executions for Greenlight’s online experiences that will drive a high volume of visitors
  • Own our Learning Center content calendar to teach kids and parents about the world of money & beyond
  • Oversee external content producers, including agencies, freelancers, and contractors
  • Oversee content engagement and conversion metrics. Establish regular reporting cadence and share learnings cross-functionally. Continuously iterate and optimize experiences based on what you learn.
  • Build and own a process to keep our content up to date and SEO-optimized over time
  • Manage publication of the Greenlight Learning Center (blog) in our CMS and help drive search traffic to our site in partnership with internal and external SEO experts
  • Increase the distribution of our content by building cross-functional relationships internally and externally
  • Serve as a brand steward and the last line of defense for our content quality and accuracy, embodying the Greenlight mission to craft approachable, motivating (and fun!) content for parents and their kids

  • Who you are:
  • A skilled content creator or editor with subject matter expertise in the personal finance, parenting, and/or family lifestyle spaces
  • Motivated to manage a pipeline of large volumes of written content, following brand tone and style, as well as SEO strategy
  • Eager to digest results, shift plans and build better, improved content with a data-driven mindset
  • Capable of crafting channel-specific content plans with creative, bold concepts  that take into consideration the audience and channel expectations
  • A collaborator who values the power of teamwork and winning together, while balancing individual accountability
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude, who is able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and proactively find ways to make your mark

  • What you’ll bring to the team:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in writing and editing content in the personal finance, parenting, and/or family lifestyle spaces
  • Experience with deploying SEO tactics in content to improve organic search results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort or experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in digital content distribution platforms (blog, social, in-app)

  • Our stance on salaries:
    Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.

    The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $95,000-140,000
    The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $95,000-132,000
