Description

The Foster Care Licensing Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision of the Foster Care Recruitment and Family Development staff.   Additionally, the foster care licensing supervisor may provide assistance in recruiting and licensing as determined by the Regional Manager.  

Essential Functions:

1. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and supervise Recruiters and Family Developers.

2. Support and ensure documentation is accurate and deadlines are met for licensing of the homes.  

3. Complete 90 day and annual evaluations on staff; including supervisions as specified per program standards.

4. Perform monthly supervision with each recruiter and family developer.  

5. Assist recruiter and family developer with the licensure process for potential    treatment families.    

6. Participate in program and regional internal foster care file audits.

7. Assist with regional data collection and program outcomes. 

 

Qualifications

Education: BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college.

Experience: 2 years of experience with service authorization process and documentation and working knowledge of service definitions for foster care services, preferred.

Specific skills/abilities: Familiarity with computer programs for database data entry, proficiency with normal office equipment such as fax, scanner, and copier machines.

Specialized knowledge, licenses, etc: Working knowledge of service definitions for children’s Medicaid and other services. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
