Job Description:

As General Counsel at Global Performance Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the legal integrity of our operations and report directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Reviewing and amending a variety of legal documents to ensure compliance and legal accuracy.
2. Drafting original legal documents, including contracts and terms and conditions for websites.
3. Advising on compliance matters across different jurisdictions.
4. Maintaining the corporate structure in good standing and ensuring corporate compliance.
5. Reviewing commercial lease agreements and standard terms of business.
6. Handling licensing matters across different jurisdictions, including IP registration in the USA.
7. Conducting legal research to support various company initiatives.
8. Providing comprehensive legal support, including advisory, contract review, and drafting in relation to strategic company initiatives.
9. Preparing and updating legal documents as required.
10. Keeping abreast of legal developments and updating internal teams accordingly.

Job Requirements:

• Law degree or equivalent experience in the legal field.
• Fluent or near-native level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling tasks on a schedule with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle confidential and complex information and present it in a manner suitable for various audiences.
