The Senior Project Manager will lead the design and construction of EV charging infrastructure projects. The Senior Project Manager will focus on complex and key national customer account projects. They may lead projects with the support of certain project managers and assistant project managers. The role will report directly to the Director, Project Execution. This role is remotely based with a 25%-30% travel expectation.
Responsibilities: Deliver EV charger infrastructure project on time and on budgetOwn strategic account project management dutiesManage the most complex projects and account for implementation of new technologiesLead project teams and coach team members Support Customer Success Team in the delivery excellent project experiencesSelect and manage consultants and contractors through project deliveryNegotiate and administer project-based subcontractor agreements Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of workSupport submission of all project permitting requirementsEstablish and maintain project cost forecasts and actualsDevelop and drive detailed project schedulesEnsure compliance with all project and customer requirementsCollaborate with consultants, contractors and peers to solve unique challengesDesired Qualifications6+ years office based professional experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years office based professional experience3+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil1+ years EV charging infrastructure delivery experienceRenewable energy project experience (solar, storage, microgrid) preferredWhat You Can Expect from Highland:
