How You'll Make an Impact

As a Machine Learning DevOps Developer at Fidelity Investments Canada, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling our business units to make informed decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and drive growth.

  • Work with stakeholders, technology, and Agile Project Managers to define business requirements for every scrum / project and map out end-to-end solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Architecture teams to design and implement scalable and reliable Machine Learning infrastructure.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Machine Learning models.
  • Automate the deployment of ML models to production environments.
  • Implement, and maintain scalable and efficient Data Pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
  • Monitor model performance and retrain the Models as necessary.
  • Optimize Model inference performance for production use cases on AWS Cloud Platform.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track Model Performance and Data Drift.
  • Maintain and improve existing ML infrastructure and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MLOps and Machine Learning technologies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed University Degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or related roles.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana).

The Expertise You Bring

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning and LLM concepts, Algorithms, and modern frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good to have - Ability to write SQL on Cloud based data warehouses, such as Snowflake and Redshift
  • Good to have - Knowledge and experience in developing applications for mutual fund/investment industry.
