The Opportunity:

As a facilities manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As a Project Manager at Booz Allen, you can use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will modernize the Space Force's launch infrastructure. We need someone like you who is eager to grow your communication skills and take part in complex projects that’ll facilitate increased launch capacity.  

As a leader on our team, you’ll oversee the execution of a space launch infrastructure roadmap to meet the client’s vision. You will provide project management support for contracting efforts, including programmatic and technical support in providing contract preparation and program management oversight to facilities and infrastructure projects being executed by the government such as providing quality assurance, environmental oversight, and technical support for design and construction projects. You will provide task support within program development and support, data gathering, analysis, testing, and concept development, contractual and environmental regulatory compliance, project scheduling, requirements documentation, project acquisition strategy, and technical support for base level regulatory actions. You will provide direct interface and frequent communications with Government points of contact and multi-disciplinary teams, including design and construction contractors, regulators, and construction contract specialists. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to adapt best practices to meet project milestones, identify and manage risk, and implement metrics to track progress while engaging with multiple stakeholders.

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience executing projects managing multiple project components simultaneously
• Experience conducting or supporting design reviews
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders to successfully execute a project
• Ability to be highly motivated, and demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and desire to contribute to the mission
• Ability to collaborate at all levels
• Ability to work independently and with minimal direction or supervision, when needed
• Ability to use Microsoft SharePoint and Teams in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with Civil Engineering
• Experience with risk management
• Experience working on a Spaceport
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of construction and program management scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
