Job Purpose and Overview

Appfire is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Generalist to join our HR team. The HR Generalist will serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers seeking HR assistance. The successful candidate will provide prompt and efficient support on a wide range of HR topics, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all users.

What You Will Do
  • Guide employees on all HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee administering new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees.
  • Assist with payroll data collection
  • Support implementations and maintain personnel procedures and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR
  • Participate in global projects.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related queries. 
  • Handle employee exit formalities and HR off-boarding processes. 
  • Support in driving the people team activities by working with HRBP’s and other people team members. 
What We Would Like to See
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist/HR Advisor, preferably in a global IT, BPO, or SSC
  • Master’s degree in human resources management. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Indian employment-related laws and regulations
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in MS- Office/Google tools.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Experience in working with Workday would be an advantage.
