We are seeking a Design & Art Direction Manager with a strong design background to elevate our marketing efforts, creatively interpret our design ethos, and push boundaries in e-commerce and digital-first campaigns and product launches. This Role will collaborate with key decision-makers in Sales, Product, and Growth to build impactful and engaging work.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with creative leadership across paid social, lifecycle marketing, web, and other areas
  • Lead the establishment of a diverse library of photos and videos for lifecycle marketing, paid social, and other channels that deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Transform upper funnel (“What is Kraus”) campaigns, customer insights, and current trends into engaging content that builds trust and drives audience loyalty, with a focus on the middle and lower marketing funnel
  • Lead ideation, art direction and design for audience engagement and purchase-focused campaigns
  • Actively contribute to designing visuals, packaging, immersive trade show experiences, social-first videos, and various campaigns
  • Work closely with the Kraus’s Brand & Creative leader to adapt and expand brand guidelines for engagement and purchase-focused channels
  • Identify departmental needs and proactively develop new processes to improve our workflow and the quality of our work
  • Employ a thorough approach to gather information, incorporate feedback, and ensure seamless progress from the first draft to the final approval.
  • Collaborate closely with the Kraus's Brand & Creative leader to provide guidance to external agency partners, ensuring their creative work aligns with the brand, is conceptually captivating, and maintains exceptional quality standards.

Education & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience as a brand / agency / marketing designer on consumer-facing products
  • Strong preference for a candidate that has experience in-house on the brand side
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic campaign ideas used across various marketing channels and deliverables, such as social media (both paid and organic), product content and messaging, web content, as well as examples of iconography, retail packaging, brand guidelines, trade show graphics and marketing materials
  • Ability to deliver high quality designs across different projects with speed in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Ability to tailor designs to the nuances and contexts of various platforms and touchpoints, including product launch materials tailored to satisfy requirements of multiple e-commerce sites
  • Proficient in developing videos with a focus on social engagement, and a proven history of conceptualizing and implementing multiple effective campaigns designed for online platforms.
  • Strong understanding of photography and lighting to assist with CGI creation and identify ways to enhance imagery
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to handle multiple projects across several categories/channels with effective optimization of resources
  • Ability and curiosity to review data and process user feedback to identify creative insights and opportunities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, typography, iconography, video editing, multi-page layouts, and web limitations, with the ability to storyboard and effectively translate ideas into concise, actionable concepts
  • Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, video editing programs, Canva, and other design platforms for social media
  • A creative, positive, and flexible attitude
