Job Description – Deputy Manager - Tax

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Providing support in undertaking corporate income tax (direct & indirect) compliances for Zscaler Softech India Private Limited
  • Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax, TDS and GST calculations
  • Calculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the same
  • Ensuring accurate, timely filing of income tax, TDS and indirect tax returns
  • Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliations
  • Preparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
  • Undertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in India
  • Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculations

  • Must be a "self-starter" with a can-do attitude and a serious desire to have a positive impact on our company

Educational background and experience:

  • Chartered Accountant with 7 to 8 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances/tax returns at a multinational organization
  • Chartered Accountant qualified in year 2016 or 2017 would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances
  • Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
