Reporting to the Business Analysis Manager, this role excels in understanding the intricate details of business operations and translating them into clear and actionable requirements, they act as facilitators between different departments and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment on project goals and priorities. This ensures that all parties involved have a shared understanding of requirements and expectations, leading to more cohesive and successful projects

Please note this role is a 6 months max term contract.

Job Description

The value-add things you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states.
  • Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs and align with technology capabilities.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, system workflows and documentation for developed solutions.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT or other departments to ensure alignment of priorities and goals
  • Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and reporting to keep stakeholders informed and involved in decision-making.
  • Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones.
  • Generate regular progress reports and dashboards to provide visibility to stakeholders and management.
  • Support deployment of solutions into production, ensuring smooth transition and user training.
  • Create documentation to support operational readiness for Project Go Live.

Qualifications

The experience and qualifications you’ll need to be successful:

  • Undergraduate and/or postgraduate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Proven track record in successfully developing and implementing Business Analysis and change management methodologies/frameworks, tools, and templates.
  • A background of working on technical and non-technical projects from a BA and project management point of view.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and influence across teams and with stakeholders
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise

Key skills and attributes that will set you up for success:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey project expectations, progress, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a solution-oriented and client-centric approach
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to use insights and learnings to better inform decision making
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders to achieve consensus on project scope, objectives, and resources
  • Proven commitment to ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheets).
