Your missions

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing EV charging sites, with a thorough understanding of building codes and ADA requirements for disabled parking and accessibility. You will work closely with the client, project managers, design and construction teams to ensure our projects meet all regulatory standards and provide a seamless experience for all users.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs and oversees the construction of EV charging stations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal building codes.
  • Incorporates ADA requirements into site designs to ensure accessibility for disabled users, including the layout of parking spaces, pathways, and charging equipment.
  • Conducts site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the optimal placement and design of EV charging stations.
  • Collaborates with electrical engineers and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Prepares detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensures all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations related to EV charging infrastructure.
  • Conducts regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation of EV charging stations.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fiel
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on EV charging infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes
  • Familiarity with ADA requirements for disabled parking and accessibility
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering design software
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • California utility experience

 

Salary Range: $72,800 – $145,600

Remote Position, Bay Area or California preferred
