Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (Philippines)

Schedule: 11PM to 8AM PHT

Salary: Up to 2500 USD/month

A leading provider of high-quality solar cable management systems for large-scale solar energy projects is seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Engineer. This company is renowned for its durable, reliable, and safe products, making them a trusted choice among top engineering, procurement, and construction companies in North America. The role offers the flexibility of remote work, with specific work hours aligning with the North American time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive takeoffs and quotes for large-scale solar farm projects based on specific project details.
• Utilize engineering knowledge to accurately convey technical aspects of solar farm design in proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to create high-quality, professional documents.
• Use specialized software to calculate project-specific installation reports (tension, sag, etc.).
• Create detailed project-specific installation drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Perform analysis using Autodesk CFD.
• Review solar drawings in detail for accuracy and completeness.
• Create 3D renderings using Autodesk Inventor.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in a field related to renewable energy or solar technology.
• Strong understanding of large-scale solar farm design and implementation.
• Proficiency in the Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, Inventor, CFD).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
