Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Tax Analyst with our client. This is a 12 month + contract and 100% remote position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced world-class tax professional to support global employment tax matters.
In this role the right candidate will support the design and implementation of our global operations for employee compensation, including tax issues associated with payroll and benefits, share-based compensation, global mobility programs and related systems, and operations process support.
In addition, the role will assist with our global employment tax audits, optimization, and transformation projects to support key initiatives and priorities with our Global Payroll Organization.
Reports to Employment Tax Director, interacts with: Payroll, Stock admin, Human Resources, Tax & Legal.

Responsibilities:

Primary support for various global payroll and employment tax projects.
Assist with reviewing/researching the Global tax and payroll implications for our benefits and equity programs.
Provide tax support to our global mobility and flexible work program, working closely with the Global Mobility/Flex team and outside tax vendor.
Provide support in managing withholding tax and social tax compliance from a payroll perspective, including end-of-year reporting requirements and updates of agreements with tax authorities.
Assist the employment tax team with the management of payroll tax audits
Assist with calculation of equity withholding obligations for mobile employees.
Liaise with stock admin and payroll team to ensure accurate reporting and withholding on stock transactions.
Response to employee inquiries related to mobility stock taxation and various employment tax related queries.
Assist with routine compliance and statutory tax filings in various locations.
Other duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related discipline.
3+ years' experience in one of the following:
- Employment or Mobility tax, Payroll Accounting, Stock Compensation, or Global Mobility.
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient use of Microsoft office products (word, excel, power points).
Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical or financial information to a non-technical audience.
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive projects to completion independently, with minimal levels of supervision.
Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient.

Pay rate range: $54.70 - $73.53 hourly
