Your missions

Job Title: Credentialing Assistant-

Remote Anywhere but must work 8-5 cst - potential OT (perferrably Texas)

PAY Rate: $16- 20/hr

Contract Role: 6 months + (potenital to extend up to 2 years)

Day-to-day responsibilities of this the role

  • Support and assist the Credentialing function.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Credentialing inbox and appropriately responding in a timely manner.
  • Create cases in provider system.
  • Generate letters to providers following departmental guidelines
  • Provide customer service and assist in responding to internal and external customer inquiries regarding credentialing status
  • Run reports for Credentialing Committee meetings. Scrub credentialing data into electronic database
  • Responsible for recredentialing correspondence.
  • Research and review Council for Affordable Healthcare Quality document the status of practitioners due for recredentialing, and relay information to the recredentialing team
  • Create and maintain provider rosters
  • Responsible for CRM submissions to the health plans

Performance Expectations/metrics For This Individual And Their Team

  • Upon completion of training should be responding to 60 emails daily, which includes the appropriate creation of cases in provider system

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of data entry experience.
  • Monitor the queue, triage, and track incoming requests from various providers
