Helping our members accelerate their careers & companies is core to our business. Sure, every year we are on track to impact 5000+ lives (future leaders) but, our ambitions are much higher.

That's where you come in.

This is a 3 months internship in our memberships team. This is the core team that drives direct revenue impact on the bottomline. This team is responsible to guide new applicants to GrowthX and solve few key things —

  • Understand a specific applicant persona - their key motivation, current role, what they want to achieve in the next few years. 2. Understand what their apprehensions/ confusion points about GrowthX are. 3. Solve each of their query and help them next steps on their application.


The 3 pillars of our new member curation process include

Empathy

This is the foundational. You will speak to top leaders and operators when they apply to GrowthX. Every applicant is unique & deserves attention when it comes to helping them with their queries. This means you will spend a considerable portion of your time in this role listening to applicants & responding them with specific nuances of GrowthX membership. Please note, you will receive an exhaustive sales training to able to build the ability to sell the right membership benefits to new applicants.

Product marketing

The way we sell is through product marketing. This means we listen to our applicant and where they want to be and talk about specific membership products to help them get closer to their professional outcomes. This will require you to get acquainted with our products, user personas and what their core goals are and how to guide an applicant in the right structure.

Clear communication

We are transparent in the way we communicate. This means your role will be integral in how a potential applicant perceive the GrowthX brand even when they might never become a member. We are here for the long run and want to do the right thing for the ecosystem at large.

What will you do?

Learn our process.

You will start working in our memberships team from day 1. First week will focus on understanding our users, what their typical professional goal(s) are and how the GrowthX membership helps them accelerate their journey towards that goal.

Conduct mock calls.

You will then go through mock drills that have specific scenarios. You will be expected to handle these calls from dummy applicants and solve for right nudge to help them take next action. This is important step before you speak to real applicants.

Co-own real calls.

Once you build enough understanding of the membership and how to structurally approach questions from applicants, you will start managing a set of applications every week. This means you will help these applicants every stage of the purchase + evaluation journey.

Solve conversion ratio.

Once an applicant cracks our memberships interview, they will have questions from pricing, specific products they can use post joining GrowthX as a member and more. You will own this part of the funnel and guide them through finding clarity & helping them become a member.

It’s assumed you will have immense bias to action, have a super get shit done attitude, attention to detail, adaptable to different situations & want to build a long term career in in-bound sales.

Previous startup experience (you have thrived in an unstructured, ambiguous environment) You get dopamine by selling the right way will be a huge plus.
