Your missions

Due to growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to be fully responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead gen through to close within Europe and the UK. This position is well suited to a consultative, relationship-builder who is confident presenting, both face-to-face and virtually, within a corporate environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability issues and market dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage dynamically in client meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and create tailored solutions.
  • Experience in contributing to marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse geographies and cultures.



About the Role:

As a valued Business Development Manager, you'll be at the front line, influencing the market and accelerating company growth. Responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline, you'll work closely with internal teams to ensure that personal and company goals are met and exceeded.



Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction and Solutions:

  • Proactively collaborate with the Sales team to address inquiries related to sustainability within the European and UK regions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, engaging in discussions to effectively address sustainability challenges.

Sales and Scoping Activities:

  • Play a crucial role in the sales process by leveraging expertise in scoping activities for sustainability projects.
  • Ensure alignment with client needs, industry trends, and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored sustainability solutions.

Contributions to Marketing and Promotion:

  • Engage in active research and contribute to the development of promotional materials such as blogs, webinars, presentations, webpage content, and other media.
  • Present thought leadership in sustainability-related topics, positioning the organization as an authority in the field.

Global Collaboration:

  • Work seamlessly with clients and colleagues across Europe, the UK, and Asia Pacific.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client and partnership relationships, emphasizing international collaboration and sustainable practices.
  • Lead initiatives to establish a global network, fostering collaborative projects and sharing best practices across regions.
