Ideal Candidate Profile:

The Communications Manager will assist in the development and execution of communications strategies and campaigns. This role involves drafting and editing content for various communication channels, managing social media platforms, conducting research on industry trends, maintaining and updating company websites, collaborating on special projects, organizing databases, and creating email content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Draft and edit content for various channels (social media, articles, newsletters).
  • Conduct research on industry trends to enhance communications efforts.
  • Manage social media platforms and engage with followers.
  • Maintain and update company websites.
  • Collaborate on special projects and initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain email communication databases.
  • Create compelling email content, newsletters, community updates, and event invitations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with email CRM (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital communication tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
