As part of our development, we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join the team of one of our clients in Laussane, Switzerland. The position is remote and we are looking for candidates in Romania.

Your mission:

Under the supervision of the CTO and of the Lead developer, your tasks will be to:

• Develop new features and to maintain old ones in a Symfony ecosystem.
• Ensure best practices are applied day-to-day, notably regarding testing and security aspects.
• Active participation in the application architecture and functional definitions.
• Evolve the technical eco-system by proposing solutions and tools.

Your profile:

• IT Software engineer degree or equivalent.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in PHP development using Symfony framework.
• You are familiar with developing REST API.
• You have always pushed for automated tests and Continuous Integration, because you are absolutely convinced they are required.
• You have good knowledge of SQL databases (for instance MySQL).
• Docker containers have no big secrets to you.
• You are aware of UX aspects and you always keep in mind user needs.
• You are rigorous and you like well-done job; you are proud of your work and projects.
• You are a team player but able to work independently when needed.
• You have an analytic mindset and you are always solution oriented.
• You are able to communicate in English, both orally and through written documentation, with colleagues from an international team.
