Position Summary:

The company is seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst Technical Writer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry with a focus on construction and a proven track record of producing high-quality content. You will be responsible for meeting with the senior executive team and conducting interviews to gather content in order to create, edit, and optimize white papers and other professional materials to share with their current customer base and future potential clients. You will also be responsible for conducting industry research to help drive the creation of new insurance products that are focused on the construction insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, and web content related to the insurance industry
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content produced as well as to assist in new product development that will be driven by the executive team
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team as well as the corporate marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs
  • Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure content remains current and valuable to our audience (property developers, general contractors, home builders, etc.)
  • Executive Interviews: Interview key executives with a defined list of questions in order to capture their perspective which can be adapted into various literature that can be used as a part of the sales and business development process

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience supporting underwriting and contracting premiums with focus on the construction sector
  • Bachelors degree in English, Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a challenging major that requires extensive technical proficiency
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and create clear, concise, and engaging content
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and project management skills to effectively track multiple deliverables and develop KPIs to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to provide sample work portfolio to the hiring company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge with insurance terminology and regulatory environment for US Construction insurance industry
  • Experience in creating content for B2B audiences in the United States
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
  • Experience working with global teams
