Job Overview:

This role is best suited for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious individual who would thrive in a fast paced, high reward environment. You will be excited about growth and push through comfort zones. You will open doors and conclude business with top retailers in home & garden, pet supplies and DIY stores. You will not only sell, but eventually recruit and manage sales agencies to maximum market potential outside of the large key account retail chain business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a Execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the UK market with set quota targets by month, quarter and year.
  • Lead with a consultative sales approach through active listening, highly skilled questioning and on the spot problem solving.
  • Champion the acquisition of new accounts and the expansion of existing strategic accounts.
  • Generate a pipeline using innovative techniques, tools, joint field marketing initiatives, tradeshows, and top-tier channel partners.
  • Secure deals through meticulous planning, consultative problem-solving, and preparation.
  • Own the entire sales cycle from lead to close for our prospects.
  • Achievement of growth initiatives consisting of target retailers, target unit sales and target sales volume £.
  • Work with senior management on providing accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and maintain a market leading position.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience with new account acquisition and with an existing customer base in one or all the market channels, Pet, Outdoor Garden Centres, DIY.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy and a drive to continually raise performance standards.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales and targeting new accounts; in person as well as over the phone prospecting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
  • Highly efficient and excited by “closing the deal” opportunities.
  • Self starter that requires minimal supervision and is results driven.
  • Comfortable with a variable compensation plan.
  • An active problem solver with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • European language is an advantage.
