Guidewire’s Analytics group helps the property & casualty (P&C) industry to utilize insurance data, both internal and external, for rating and operations, as well as for newer evolving risks like Cyber. By combining internet-scale data listening, adaptive machine leaning, and insurance risk modeling, our Analytics solutions provide insights and analytical capabilities that enable our customers take advantage of new opportunities, accurately price exposures, and get the most out of their operations and service processes.
Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for all customer technical and data related mattersWork with the Customer Management team to understand customers business objectives and develop new solutions to support their needs (reports, custom analytics, prototypes, etc.)Work with customers and the product management team to ensure continuous product improvementEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer objectivesHelp customers with questions about our platform and provide supportContinuously deliver training and enablement sessions to customersIdentify areas of improvement to expand and strengthen our relationshipsManage customer expectations and closely support challenging client requests or issue escalations as neededRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related technical field5+ years experience in Software, IT, Security, Financial consulting or equivalent pre-sales/post-sales engineering experienceExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) with both non-technical and technical audiencesStrong experience with Data (You must love data! ): MANDATORY - Familiarity with InsuranceSuite Cloud and self-managed, InsuranceNow, App Events, and the ability to implement and enhance existing Policy and Claims workflows. Integration Framework including AppEvents, WebHooks and Integration Gateway ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionality and APIs, including extensionsAble to design scalable, robust software architecture for each customer use case—with technical sequence and component diagrams—balancing trade-offs between performance, scalability, flexibility and maintainabilityFull-stack comfort withProgramming languages (Gosu, Java, Apache Camel, JavaScript, python)Expression languages (jsonPath, jmesPath)Databases (DynamoDB, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server)Cloud services (AWS, Kafka, S3, SQS)Integration Framework including AppEvents, WebHooks and Integration GatewayClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionality and APIs, including extensionsDataDog and error monitoring & handlingRESTful APIs Data Quality & Data Integration Analytics (Preferred: Tableau, Power BI)Experience in Account Management / Technical Account Management Tech Savvy.
