Job Description:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 3 Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Resource with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing GCP resources and extensive experience working with managed services. As an L3 GCP Resource, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing GCP infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and providing support to our clients.
 
Responsibilities:
 
1. **GCP Resource Management:**
   - Proactively monitor and manage GCP resources, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
   - Implement and maintain GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, and Identity and Access Management.
 
2. **Windows and Linux Expertise:**
   - Proficient in managing Windows and Linux environments within the GCP framework.
   - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, ensuring seamless operation of applications and services.
 
3. **Managed Services:**
   - Hands-on experience with GCP managed services, including but not limited to Cloud SQL, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support managed services based on client requirements.
 
4. **Technical Support:**
   - Act as a point of contact for Level 1 support, providing guidance and resolutions for escalated issues.
   - Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
 
5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
   - Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
   - Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
 
6. **Security and Compliance:**
   - Implement and adhere to security best practices in GCP environments.
   - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
 
7. **Continuous Learning:**
   - Stay updated on the latest GCP features, best practices, and industry trends.
   - Actively participate in training programs and certifications to enhance skills.
 
8.** Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and automated infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This includes deploying and managing applications, configuring CI/CD pipelines, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the security and reliability of the cloud environment. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance overall system efficiency.
 
Qualifications:
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing GCP resources, with specific expertise in Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in the GCP ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and relevant areas are a plus.
