Your missions

We're looking for a skilled Title and Deed Examiner to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in researching and analyzing real property records to identify property interests held by federal agencies and potential program lands. Your work will involve meticulous record searches, both online and occasionally onsite, to prepare detailed summaries that contribute to informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough searches of real property records online and, when necessary, in person.

Identify property interests held by federal agencies and encumbrances on program lands.

Review and analyze real property records and title commitments to determine ownership details.

Compare findings with agency records and ensure accuracy and consistency.

Prepare comprehensive summaries of search results and findings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of ten years' experience in searching and reviewing real property records.

Strong understanding of state laws related to real estate transactions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within deadlines.

Stay updated with industry best practices and innovate methods for record location.

Preferred Qualifications

Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent.

Certification in relevant fields.

Experience with GIS technologies.
