We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide support to families with children on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in need of early intervention therapy.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and all contract requirements

Provide direct PLAY Project intervention services to grant recipients

Document PLAY sessions and submit required reports promptly

Complete grant reporting requirements accurately and on time

Provide family education using the PLAY Project model

Maintain effective and professional relationships with families, co-workers, and referral sources

Receive PLAY Project certification within 3 months of hire

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in early childhood special education, early child development, licensed therapist (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology), or related field

Minimum of one year of direct hands-on work experience with young children and their families

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health, and/or dual diagnoses preferred

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and solution-focused behavior

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including diplomatically addressing difficult situations and people
