Cardiothoracic Surgery Coding Specialist

This position will provide high quality E/M, procedure and surgery coding across multiple specialties.  This position also provides education to providers related to coding.  The position will focus on cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries.

• Coding platform: Citrix, eCW

• Current CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
• Must have at least three years of active surgery coding experience
• Must have experience coding all types of cardiothoracic procedures.
• Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
