Adjunct Instructor, Special Education -- Remote | WFH

Responsibilities

Teaching Responsibilities:

Facilitate synchronous classes aligned with asynchronous modules.

Teach courses typically spanning 2.5 to 10 sessions per term, depending on credit allocation.

Course Preparation And Professional Development

Engage in onboarding and weekly collaboration sessions.

Participate in instructional observations to enhance facilitation practices.

Student Experience

Ensure a supportive learning environment aligned with program policies.

Host office hours, provide academic feedback, and maintain ongoing communication with students.

Programmatic & Design Support

Contribute to course improvement by providing feedback on curriculum design.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Five years of effective teaching experience.

Graduate degree in a relevant educational field.

Experience with online teaching and adult learners.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-oppressive initiatives in education.

Experience in teacher preparation or educational leadership.
