What You'll Do::

The Transfer Credit Evaluator is responsible to research, analyze and assess student credits earned at other institutions for equivalency of courses to the program of enrollment.

  • Examine college transcripts and prepare official evaluation to award transfer credit.
  • Review course equivalency through online resources and match courses appropriately to degree requirements.
  • Complete transfer of credit within the guidelines of the standard operation procedure.
  • Research academic programs and curriculum at transfer institutions. This information will be utilized to build a database for reference.
  • Compose a variety of correspondence to students, staff, and other institutions regarding requests for course descriptions and transcript clarification.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with colleagues, students, and other professionals.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as organizing, filing, shredding, and photocopying documents; maintains office files, student files, and other appropriate records.
  • Interface with campus personnel including but not limited to Campus Coordinators, BSN Program Managers, Admissions Advisors, and Executive Directors of Enrollment Services to provide support and resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer services to prospective and current students.

Other Duties as Assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent skills and experience required.
  • Two (2) + years’ clerical or administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Ability to conduct independent research utilizing strong critical thinking skills.
  • Possesses professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information and highly sensitive matters.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office products
