Position Title:

Associate Director of Installation Support

Salary Range:

Job Description Summary:

This position provides leadership, management, financial accountability, strategy execution, coordination, and evaluation of implementation services for solutions in the Installation Support Program, operating under an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) with the United States Army’s Installation Management Command (IMCOM). This position will develop strong relationships with assigned installations, suppliers, and internal Sourcewell teams and guide their direct reports to do the same. This position will assist in program development by providing process and procedural recommendations to support the scaling of the Installation Support Program.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned ISP solution to achieve P&L (Revenue and Margin) goals.
  • Manage activities of team members to achieve the P&L goals for assigned ISP solution.
  • Assist in developing a 3-year plan for Revenue and Margin for assigned ISP solutions.
  • Develop annual plans and initiatives to support the growth of assigned ISP Solutions.
  • Assist in developing Revenue and Margin (expense) budgets for assigned ISP solutions.
  • Manage the cost centers for assigned solutions to maximize Revenue and Margin.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that these areas budget appropriately to support the Revenue and Margin goals assigned ISP solutions.
  • Manage the activities assigned Procurement Solutions Team
  • Manage the team to ensure that these units operate effectively within Sourcewell, support our overall mission, and apply our values in all interactions.
  • Lead the assigned team by delegating authority to operate and manage their assigned solutions while providing oversight to ensure that these units comply with all internal and external compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct the development of processes to develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and the Supplier Development team to ensure that the suppliers fully support the ISP solution and that their support for our Cooperative Purchasing program is maintained or increased.
  • Manage the development of processes to engage with installation. This includes developing new relationships, managing existing relationships, establishing KPI measurements, and ensuring that installations are satisfied in order to support future growth for the ISP program.
  • Manage the development of processes to engage with internal stakeholders for ISP Solutions. This includes Procurement, Legal, GR, IT, and Finance.
  • Ensure that training programs are in place so that the team follows best practices for managing and engaging with both suppliers and clients.
  • Ensure that the team has access to and uses outside resources (including consultants and data providers) to increase the impact that their teams make.
  • Manage customer relationships through the use of various tools to ensure that feedback from customers is collected and that customers are satisfied.
  • Manage ISP team members
  • Supervise, develop, train, and mentor assigned staff.
  • Provide direction and actionable goals to ensure that the team understands how their performance impacts department, division and organizational strategies and goals.
  • Work with internal leadership to identify staffing needs and ensure the team has appropriate headcount to support growth plans.
  • Manage hiring, training, and onboarding processes and ensure these are consistent across the ISP team.
  • Pattern our values of Seek, Empower and Impact to internal and external partners.
  • Develop and lead the team to become open, transparent, innovative, and collaborative manner with the Sourcewell team and external partners.
  • Represent Sourcewell and Procurement Solutions
  • Represent Sourcewell and Solution Development at internal events, board meetings and retreats.
  • Represent Sourcewell and Solution Development at civic and social functions by attending local, regional, state, and national meetings, and conferences.
  • Attend and present at conferences, trade shows, supplier meetings, client meetings and other public events.
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field AND a minimum of five (5) year of experience in sales, supply chain management, procurement, account management, or other directly related experience OR A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of nine (9) years.
  • Five (5) years of public speaking or sales presentation experience
  • Business process and operational knowledge of sales, customer service, supply chain, and procurement
  • Five (5) years of sales and/or sales management experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in leading or directing projects, people, or teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Seven (7) years of experience in sales, supply chain management, procurement, account management, or other directly related experience
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in public speaking or sales presentation
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in business process and operational knowledge of sales, customer service, supply chain, and procurement
  • Seven (7) years of sales and/or sales management experience
  • Four (4) years of experience in leading or directing projects, people, or teams
  • Four (4) years of experience in P&L and/or budge management experience
  • Preferred candidate should have an understanding of military procurement, structure and funding processes.
  • Leadership skills are preferred.
  • Any of the following related certifications CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPPB (Certified Professional Public Buyer), CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional).

Salary Range:

  • Grade 14, $96,744.88 - 135,442.83 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience.
