Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will define and execute product strategies that harness Ivans' unique insights. What You’ll Do

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand market needs and define requirements for innovative data solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, translating requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Ivans Insights team to define product direction and drive growth.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning activities to ensure alignment with market demands and strategic objectives.
  • Establish and maintain support processes to address product performance and support issues effectively.
  • Provide sales support by effectively communicating the value proposition of Ivans Insights solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights and inform product development decisions.
  • Define detailed design specifications for software projects, leveraging your technical understanding of full-stack applications.

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
  • Ability to travel (post-COVID-19)

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis within Agile, with a focus on delivering successful data-driven products.
  • Domain expertise, preferably with experience in an insurance carrier setting.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing data-driven products and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to track industry and tech trends, driving product differentiation.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum discipline, adept at leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and tech stack; experience with Looker is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, driving the implementation of value-added features.
  • Technical proficiency across full-stack applications.
  • Ability to define detailed design specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Computer Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines

  • Insurance Carrier or Broker experience
  • Experience with APIs
  • Jira/Confluence experience or similar project management tools
