Ivans, a division of Applied Systems, is seeking a Product Manager on the Ivans Insights Team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making in insurance. What You’ll Do
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand market needs and define requirements for innovative data solutions.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, translating requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with the Ivans Insights team to define product direction and drive growth.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning activities to ensure alignment with market demands and strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain support processes to address product performance and support issues effectively.
- Provide sales support by effectively communicating the value proposition of Ivans Insights solutions to clients and prospects.
- Conduct market research to gather insights and inform product development decisions.
- Define detailed design specifications for software projects, leveraging your technical understanding of full-stack applications.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
- Ability to travel (post-COVID-19)
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis within Agile, with a focus on delivering successful data-driven products.
- Domain expertise, preferably with experience in an insurance carrier setting.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing data-driven products and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to track industry and tech trends, driving product differentiation.
- Strong Agile/Scrum discipline, adept at leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and tech stack; experience with Looker is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, driving the implementation of value-added features.
- Technical proficiency across full-stack applications.
- Ability to define detailed design specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Computer Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines
