CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

 

Summary:

The Database Administrator is responsible for providing services and support to our federal client.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and improve existing database repositories
  • Transfer closed project files from network to Document Locator system
  • Transfer scanned images to Document Locator
  • Assess and improve database information
  • Assist staff in searching for digital records, as needed
  • Database Administration
  • Track server capacity
  • Support installation of new hardware and software, as needed
  • Establish and support server maintenance procedures
  • Support/troubleshoot client access to system
  • Track/establish/manage user security
  • Effectively and promptly communicate with all users through email, phone and in person
  • Work with client staff to integrate Document Locator information into MSSharePoint sites, as needed
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training manuals and other material using Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Provide User Support for Microsoft Project Server
  • Support/troubleshoot client software installation
  • Support / troubleshoot client access
  • Plan and execute regularly scheduled training classes as needed by staff
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training manuals and other material using Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint products
  • Work with client staff to develop and streamline new work processes
  • Develop MS Project Server dashboard reports, as requested
  • Work with client staff to integrate dashboard information into MS SharePoint sites, as needed
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in developing training documents and conducting training classes.
  • Ability to learn Columbia Soft Document Locator database system
  • Able to speak, write and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Able to develop and update standard operating procedures
  • Must pass an employer background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid client service, time management and leadership skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience working with the following systems:
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Microsoft SQL Server Administration
    • Microsoft SharePoint Designer
    • Microsoft Project Server Administration
    • Web development in HTML
  • Associate's degree in information management or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management or related field.

 

The pay for this position is $85 hourly.
