A Little Bit About the Role:
Working with our global client, this role sits within a fast paced, highly responsive area of the business, the Digital Designer supports client briefs through creating powerful and impactful digital content for a multitude of different projects. The Digital Designer will proactively manage design quality, accuracy, and consistency across all creative work.
Working across digital, SoMe, online artwork and creative design services, this role is required to execute projects of all sizes and deliver to a high standard of creative excellence and skill.
Reporting to the Art Director or Associate Creative Director, the Digital Designer is part of a creative team of 15. The Digital Designer role will help strengthen our team, designed to mold into a creative powerhouse!
What You'll be Doing:
- Create and manage original, conceptually compelling work for campaigns and content with support from the Creative team across multiple brands and products.
- Working closely with the design and motion team to bring your vision to life.
- Staying on track with emerging digital visual trends.
- The ability to take complete ownership of projects, including taking brief directly from client, presenting initial designs to client and managing the project until delivery.
- Be available to assist the account management and design team with offline design briefs as appropriate.
- Deliver on briefs from concept to completion via working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation and implementation.
- Staying on track with emerging digital trends and engaging with the wider digital creative community
- The ability to take complete ownership of projects, including taking brief directly from client, presenting initial designs to client and managing the project until delivery.
- Be available to assist the account management and design team with offline design briefs as appropriate
- A strong understanding of conceptualisation, graphic design, illustration, typography and ecommerce standards
- Demonstrate strong UX/ UI and design thinking for the web, digital, ecommerce and social advertising
- Define the look and feel for a variety of digital design projects whilst implementing existing brand guidelines
- Working in a team of 17
- Work across approximately 10 products across 5 different markets.
What You'll Need:
- Highly creative with the ability to produce design collateral within brand guidelines and agreed timescales.
- Excellent digital design skills, knowledge, and a portfolio that shows digital work
- Reliability to finish a brief.
- Awareness of emerging digital design trends
- Understanding of typography, layout, color and grid structures
- A working knowledge of social media asset creation
- The aptitude to learn new software and programs efficiently and effectively
- Good knowledge of digital processes to deliver quality solutions
- Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in:
- Digital
- Print
- Motion Graphics
- Artwork
- Production
