Associate Director of Mobile Development

Job Description

Looking to work on new innovation driven technologies? The mobile development team at Homecare Homebase, LLC (HCHB) is looking for an Associate Director of Engineering. We are currently designing, building, and shipping forward thinking systems and features for our next iteration of multi-platform mobile applications to advance post-acute care, based around micro frontends and Blazor. Our platform connects thousands of devices in near time to help clinicians make informed decisions. Ingesting hundreds of thousands of visits daily, we process, analyze, and communicate bi-directionally vast amounts of data across the continuum of the patient.

Primary Task And Job Responsibilities

Works closely with the VP of Engineering to define and implement strategic approaches drive Engineering Delivery with High Quality across Report thru Agile Teams.

Leads Shift Left and Software Patterns and Practices including better collaboration across Development, Quality, and Product.

Drive and Manage Process Adherence and repeatability

Conduct Manager and Lead performance reviews.

Skills/Experience  

7-10+ years’ hands-on development or architecture experience with mission-critical enterprise systems/products and recent experience with Cloud Migration techniques and strategies.

4-6+ years’ software experience designing and shipping large Enterprise Systems in the cloud/Azure (preference given to a Hybrid Cloud design portfolio).

4-6+ years’ experience and comfort level working with Architecture and DevOps peers in a fast-paced Agile environment with a demonstrated portfolio of technical cloud transformations

4-6+ years’ hands-on code level management and leadership experience including patterns and practices (Code Reviews, Paired Programming, Velocity Mgmt. (Preference given to recent experience of team scale/growth, transformations, and advancing KPIs for SDLC maturity).

3-5+ years’ hands on experiences with partner and tooling ecosystem for Hybrid Cloud Development with Microsoft technologies (Azure Portal, ADO, Pipelines, DevTest, CICD Automation) with a demonstrated portfolio of process execution with advancing KPIs 

Span of Control

Consummate to the business need has Vertical Service Line(s) responsibility and Horizontal SAFE Agile Train Focus; has Tech Leads, and mix of Managers where needed reporting to and reporting thru to them (SWAG Report to/thru 10+)
