The Sales and Implementation team is a small, dynamic, team, united by our passion for education, technology, and innovative thinking. We pride ourselves on our personal relationships with our clients, and we are keen to recruit a new team member to our team in Australia. While our Australia office is located in Melbourne, Victoria, we are open to considering candidates from other regions.

Could you be our new Academic Partnerships Consultant? Do you have?

  • Proven ability in business development/account management and/or a consultative role, preferably in the higher education sector or similar.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience delivering effective presentations virtually and in person.
  • Experience working with customers to assist with the delivery of technology and offering support where required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload and time effectively
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.

Your New Role

The Academic Partnerships Consultant generates new leads, promotes and sells Epigeum’s online courses to higher education institutions across Australia and adjacent markets, to meet and surpass revenue targets and ensure their successful implementation by enhancing customer success.

As Academic Partnerships Consultant You Will

  • Conduct market research, lead generation and qualification, and manage new and existing customer accounts.
  • Ensure renewal of current subscriptions, upsell existing products, and identify new opportunities to exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain integrity of customer data and reporting in the CRM system.
  • Provide effective support to new and existing customers by raising awareness of Epigeum programmes, providing training, and enhancing overall user satisfaction.
  • Engage with existing users to build communities around specific subject areas, including the organisation of Community of Practice events.
  • Create and update implementation materials tailored to our customer's needs, using technology to boost product usage.
  • Work collaboratively with Implementation, Marketing, and other relevant functions to provide exceptional customer support.
  • Work closely with and provide administrative support to the Senior Academic Partnerships Manager.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced understanding of Epigeum's product offerings to better support external customers.
  • Stay informed of key issues in the university sector in your territory.
